Friday, September 28There have been a few changes at Burnside recently concerning our relationship with the neighboring businesses and I thought that since Dave Hupp of DLH Productions was kind enough to send me photos of the most blatant of the bunch, I had to post them. The first one is pretty self-explanatory.
This one may take a bit more explaining. What you are looking at here is the newest addition to the Burnside Skatepark. It's a tranny that was built around a Jersey Barrier that wraps around and also finishes the large pyramid on the north side of the park. Good luck getting a run up to it though. Not only will you have to cross the dreaded "No Skating Zone" line, you'll also have to deal with blacktop so rough it'll shred any part of exposed skin that goes down on it. Fun stuff!
Thanks again for the photo's Dave. It gave me a reason to get something going here again.
That's it. Go skate!
