DLH Productions is the work of Portland's very own Dave Hupp. He's a local professional photographer that has been shooting and filming skateboarding in the Northwest for years. His work can be seen in movies, magazines, and more. Check out his website and tell him Burnsideskatepark.com sent you.

"Built without permission, by skateboarders and later sanctioned by the city, Burnside is the preeminent example of action.... Like a magnifying glass in the sun, Burnside can witness a concentration of skill level unmatched anywhere. You can see crazy, crazy things there. Go, watch, learn, be humbled, excited and inspired. It is amazing."

Give it up

Tuesday, November 23
OK, if you've come by here lately, I'm sure you can tell it hasn't been updated in a while. I was planning on getting some of the Halloween stuff going, but I just haven't had the time. Now I have more on my plate and know that I won't have the time for at least another month. I will try and keep up here, but it's going to be tough. As soon as I get some other things taken care of, I will get back on this site and keep it updated regularly. If anyone has any suggestions as to what you want to see here, send me an e-mail. (you can find the link over there ----->)

Why am I so busy? I have been actually trying to build an entirely new website for Burnside Skatepark, Inc. at Burnsideskatepark.org. The new site will not be like this one. This site is more of an ongoing journal about what goes on at the park. The .org site will be geared more towards a business perspective. It will basically be a site to hype the park to potential businesses that may be looking to donate to the skatepark. Burnside hopes to file for non-profit status in the near future and we want to be prepared. When your dealing with a 14 year old skatepark, you need to have some sort of income in order to keep up on repairs or just general upkeep, and it's not cheap. So, that's what I'm doing instead of keeping this place updated. Like I said though, I will be back and get this place back up to speed soon enough.

That's it. Go skate!

Who are these guys that kill it at Burnside? The plan is to interview a different local each month to get different views from the people that skate one of the best parks in the world.
