R.I.P. Pole Jam
Thursday, January 25
I was browsing Youtube the other day and came across this video of someone doing the short-lived pole jam at Burnside. This was a punisher. It was short lived because it was built on our neighbors property. I guess they weren't as into it as we were. Really, it all just came down to liability and being good neighbors. By the way, sorry about that blogger banner at the top of the page. I upgraded to the new blogger but forgot to revise the page code to hide it. I'll try and get it hidden again soon. I guess it's a small price to pay for free webspace. I guess.
That's it. Go skate!

"Built without permission, by skateboarders and later sanctioned by the city, Burnside is the preeminent example of action.... Like a magnifying glass in the sun, Burnside can witness a concentration of skill level unmatched anywhere. You can see crazy, crazy things there. Go, watch, learn, be humbled, excited and inspired. It is amazing."

Who are these guys that kill it at Burnside? The plan is to interview a different local each month to get different views from the people that skate one of the best parks in the world.
