DLH Productions is the work of Portland's very own Dave Hupp. He's a local professional photographer that has been shooting and filming skateboarding in the Northwest for years. His work can be seen in movies, magazines, and more. Check out his website and tell him Burnsideskatepark.com sent you.

"Built without permission, by skateboarders and later sanctioned by the city, Burnside is the preeminent example of action.... Like a magnifying glass in the sun, Burnside can witness a concentration of skill level unmatched anywhere. You can see crazy, crazy things there. Go, watch, learn, be humbled, excited and inspired. It is amazing."

Thanks For Your Ideas

Friday, October 22
I had a couple of good ideas given over on the Burnside forum for what we should do next week to renovate the park, thanks guys. I've now shut it down. Maybe in the future, when this site gets more traffic and I feel like getting it going again, I'll bring it back.

If you plan on skating Burnside next week, don't. The park will probably be unskateable, depending on what we decide to do to it. This weekend would be your best bet. If you would like to help out with renovating the best skater built, skater maintained, skater financed, and skater policed skatepark in the world, come by next week ready to work. We'll find something for you to do.

That's it. Go skate!
