DLH Productions is the work of Portland's very own Dave Hupp. He's a local professional photographer that has been shooting and filming skateboarding in the Northwest for years. His work can be seen in movies, magazines, and more. Check out his website and tell him Burnsideskatepark.com sent you.

"Built without permission, by skateboarders and later sanctioned by the city, Burnside is the preeminent example of action.... Like a magnifying glass in the sun, Burnside can witness a concentration of skill level unmatched anywhere. You can see crazy, crazy things there. Go, watch, learn, be humbled, excited and inspired. It is amazing."

Last Chance To Speak Up

Friday, October 22
Today will be the last day to get in your ideas for what you think we should renovate at Burnside. I don't check on the weekends, so this is it. You can leave your ideas in the forum (closed), which I will print out at the end of the day today.

Another thing that will happen at the end of the day will be the removal of the same forum. I made it about a month ago just for kicks, but it has seen no use. You can still leave comments at the bottom of each post though. So you still have the opportunity to have your voice heard.

Red, a few others, and myself will be meeting this weekend to figure out exactly what will be built or repaired before Halloween. So don't expect to come down to Burnside for a raging session next week, Oct. 25 - 29th. The park might be unrideable, depending on what we decide to do. There have been some good ideas thrown around over at Sleestak, where I posted the same question as my forum.

So get your costumes ready and show up at Burnside on Halloween for a non-stop raging session. It gets pretty hectic, so be prepared to go balls out or you just may feel the wrath of Burnside.

That's it. Go skate!
