DLH Productions is the work of Portland's very own Dave Hupp. He's a local professional photographer that has been shooting and filming skateboarding in the Northwest for years. His work can be seen in movies, magazines, and more. Check out his website and tell him Burnsideskatepark.com sent you.

"Built without permission, by skateboarders and later sanctioned by the city, Burnside is the preeminent example of action.... Like a magnifying glass in the sun, Burnside can witness a concentration of skill level unmatched anywhere. You can see crazy, crazy things there. Go, watch, learn, be humbled, excited and inspired. It is amazing."

New Photo Page is Coming

Monday, July 12
I've made a new page for photos I've taken at the park, but of course, my new photo hosting service is down for maintenance. So as soon as it gets back up I will be adding the page and the few photos I took this weekend. There's a great one of Q throwing down a layback cess-slide grind. I'm not exactly sure when it will be up, but hopefully by the end of the day.
There's a Portland Development Commission meeting tonight concerning the Burnside redevelopment project in the works. I will be there, along with Sage, to make sure the park is represented. I'll give the details tomorrow.
One last thing. Support for the nontest is great. I have a bunch of new supporting companies to add to the flyer, everyone seems pretty into it. I'm also trying to get a noise permit. MYG from Sinistapushaman/Indamix Records said he's down and will be spinning everything from death metal to hip hop.

One last thing about the nontest. We planned on having $500 dollars to use as prize money, and still hope too, but this is coming out of our pockets. So the money may not be what we were planning the closer we get to Aug. 21st. Keep a close eye out because I will be changing the flyer in the next couple of days to add the new companies logos and change a couple of details. I think I will be changing the amount of money to be won to a lower number and, if more becomes available, we will raise it. Sorry to do this, but come on, most of us would be happy with a case of Pabst, the money isn't the most important thing.

That's it. Go skate!
