Four Wheels are Four Wheels

This weekend was pretty fun down at the ol' skatepark. Last week my board took a tail dive and it got a severe case of mush tail. So this week I hooked up a new deck. I can't remember when the last time I actually set up a new, not just new to me, deck. It felt like stepping into a new car from an old beat up jalopy. Saturday was real mellow. I think everybody was over at the Super Loop challenge in Reedsport. I hear it was done by a guy named Josef. Sick.
On Sunday Scott Horton and Darwin Holmes from Team FarFrumWalkn were down at the park killing it in their wheelchairs. (see the pics on the photo page) These guys cruise around to different skateparks and throw down some amazing shit. Watching them drop into the bowl and carve it going super fast was sick. I wasn't there, but I was told that Scott rolled into the elbow.
One last thing, Bret hooked this site up. He is the owner of the original Burnside skatepark site, burnsideskatepark.com, and has re-directed his address to this site. He also hooked up a link to the orignal site, which you can find on the photo page. Thanks man, I really appreciate it.
That's it. Go skate!

"Built without permission, by skateboarders and later sanctioned by the city, Burnside is the preeminent example of action.... Like a magnifying glass in the sun, Burnside can witness a concentration of skill level unmatched anywhere. You can see crazy, crazy things there. Go, watch, learn, be humbled, excited and inspired. It is amazing."

Who are these guys that kill it at Burnside? The plan is to interview a different local each month to get different views from the people that skate one of the best parks in the world.
